Oneka Technologies operates from a new 55,000 ft² facility in Sherbrooke, Quebec, where it has implemented robust operational and safety processes. The company’s Icecube process plant underwent successful third-party validation at the NavFac facility in Port Hueneme, California. Further testing – including load reduction and storm survivability – was conducted in Nova Scotia from August to November using an Iceberg-class unit.
Oneka also deployed an Iceberg unit in Florida, meeting expected performance benchmarks, and is conducting 24/7 full-scale bench testing to accelerate product improvements. A memorandum of understanding was signed with Chilean industrial company Asfalcom, generating $120K USD in annual recurring revenue. The company is advancing permitting for a project with the City of Fort Bragg, California, resulting in over $500K CAD in revenue. Oneka closed the final tranche of its Series A funding with $1M CAD from Innovobot Resonance Ventures and $135K CAD from Sustainable Ocean Alliance.
